Our Mission Statement

The St. Albert Senior Citizens' Club is an organization of senior citizens committed to the support of, and fellowship with, seniors in our community and surrounding areas.

CAPS (Central Assessment and Placement Services)

  • Coordinates the assessment and placement process to appropriate continuing care centers (nursing home or auxiliary hospital) / programs

Home Care

  • Provides health and support services for people who wish to remain in their homes, both short-term acute care and long-term services to seniors and persons with disabilities.
  • Services include nursing, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, social work, physical therapy, homemaking, personal care, companionship, and driving services.

To qualify for drug coverage under this plan: 

  • Must be a resident of Alberta
  • Registered with the Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan and have not opted out of the plan
  • Diagnosed by a physician as being palliative and receiving your treatments at home.  Palliative means to be in the end stage of a terminal illness or disease

  • Recruitment services/referrals of caregivers to persons with disabilities and/or seniors
  • Presentations on topics of interest to caregivers
  • Monthly payroll provision offered to employers (person with disability) on a fee for service basis
  • Aide’s provide personal care, homemaking, and meal preparation.
