Mission Statement
The St. Albert 50+ Club (formerly the Senior Citizens' Club) is an organization of senior citizens committed to the support of, and fellowship with, seniors in our community and surrounding areas.

William (Bill) Barnes

 

Bill Barnes, Vice President

Bill Barnes has been married 47 years and has three daughters and six grandsons.  He left England in 1962 and got a job in Montreal; after a period of time there, he moved to Cold Lake and then returned to England.  After six years Bill returned to Canada, finding work in Brampton, Ontario.  Bill lived in Cold Lake with Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment as an aircraft structural dynamics engineer.  He retired after 23 years and moved to St. Albert, where he currently enjoys music, woodwork, and lathe work.  He has built an 18 ft. power boat at Cold Lake from plans.  Bill has been a club member for five years and is looking forward to many more.  As a board member, Bill looks after building maintenance.
