Gareth Jones

Gareth Jones, Director

Gareth and his wife came to Canada in 1975 on a rugby tour. They fell in love with Alberta and emigrated from Wales in 1975. Since that time, they have lived in St. Albert and never regretted the move. They have three daughters and three granddaughters - all of whom live in St. Albert. Gareth is presently employed as the Canadian Regional Manager for BIW Connector Systems – a manufacturer of electrical connectors for the oil industry. He often works in Asia on special projects for the company.

Gareth is a founder member of the St. Albert Rugby Club where he served three times as president. He also served for three years as vice president of the St. Albert Bingo Association and three years as president of St. Albert Victim Services. Gareth is, and has been, heavily involved in fundraising for many St. Albert organizations as well as being involved in various capacities for 19 games at the provincial, national and international levels. He served as a city councilor from 2007-2010.
