Lesley and her husband, Vic, moved to St. Albert in 1971. They have 3 sons and 9 grandchildren that they enjoy spending lots of time with. In 2002, Lesley retired from her position as executive assistant to the superintendent of schools of Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools where she had worked for 23 years. This position required her to liaise and meet with various levels of government, and attend and organize meetings of many types. She was also responsible for communication, public relations and the website for the division. Lesley has a degree in business administration from NAIT and has taken many courses related to computer programs, and public relations.

She served on several volunteer boards including the Morinville Minor Hockey Association, TOPS, Grandin Village Condominium Association, St. Albert Catholic Church parish council, and Cardiff Echoes Community League. In addition, she has coached teams in St. Albert minor hockey and St. Albert minor baseball. Since retiring, Lesley has volunteered with the St. Albert RCMP, Albert Government Home Care, SAIF, Youville Nursing Home and SASCC.

Along with her husband, she joined the SASCC in 2004. As well as being the club’s vice president, Lesley is the Euchre chairperson. This is her second year serving on the board. She has worked in the gift shop and volunteered at several Grandin Park bingos for the SASCC. Lesley states, “It is my pleasure to serve as one of your directors and ask that all of our members work to support this great club, its Board of Directors and staff. With your help, we can be a thriving and successful club where seniors enjoy themselves.”
