The Seniors’ Club was nominated and received The Volunteer Friendly Business Award recognizing our contributions from the Community Information and Volunteer Centre.

In 2009, the SASCC had a 25% increase in volunteer hours.  Volunteer contributed over $500,000 worth of hours to the Club.  We rely on a strong core group of volunteers to help in the area of programming and services delivery as well as Special Events and the running of the club.  Without our volunteers, the level of services we provide would not exist.

Volunteers are an essential part of the Club. Most of the activities are run by members who volunteer their time. Volunteering is an enjoyable way to develop new skills, keep informed, meet new friends and support the Club. Would you like to become a volunteer?
